BESPOKE SERVICE

 APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are available at my Studio in Humber Street, Hull or my Workroom in Driffield.

To book an appointment to discuss having a Bespoke piece made, please call or email us on +44 (0) 7583598965 or kerry@lovehatsmillinery.co.uk

To make sure that you have a hat in time for the busy Summer period such as Ascot or Summer Weddings, we advise that you plan ahead and get in touch early.  We need a minimum of 6 weeks at this time.

DESIGN PROCESS

A Bespoke Headpiece is a Headpiece that is created especially for you and is a one-off Headpiece, for this reason a bespoke headpiece is more expensive than a ready to wear one.   Extra time is needed to design and create the Headpiece, but the results will be outstanding.

Your first appointment can take up to an hour or so, in this time we will get to know what your thoughts and ideas are about the Headpiece that you would like creating.  We will get an idea of the venue and the general feel of the event, any colour theme there may be, also your general fashion style and personality.

It is best to get your outfit and accessories first and bring them along to the appointment, it is not just a case of matching a colour but also looking at silhouettes that will complement the overall look.

Once we have established the type of Headpiece you would like, the fun begins.  You will be offered samples to try on and get a feel of what you like, but it may be necessary to  draw a selection of pieces with ideas that you have.

You will be updated along the creating process and one or two more appointments may be necessary for you to OK the Headpiece in its design process.  A final fitting will be made when the Headpiece is finished.

COLOUR MATCHING TO ORDER

If we do not have the perfect colour match of sinamay, there is an option to have your Headpiece dyed to match perfectly.  Having a hat dyed to order will pull the whole look together, tying in your outfit and accessories for the perfect final touch.

There is an extra charge for dyeing to cover materials and extra time spent, which will be included in your quote.
