What you'll learn...
- Learn about sinamay and how to cut and manipulate to create a shape
- Demonstration - follow my instructions or if you're feeling confident then use the skills to create something unique
- Putting the fascinator together (Either stitched or glued to your preference)
- Feathers - Learn about different feathers and ways of trimming them to make your fascinator fabulous!!
This is a hands on workshop but its still fun and very relaxed with time to have refreshments and cake!!
You will leave the workshop with a finished fascinator, a printed out step by step guidance and some skills should you want to carry on at home
You will be provided with a bag to take our fascinator home
SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS FROM BEGINNERS but basic sewing skills are helpful
JUST BRING YOUR CREATIVITY AND WE'LL PROVIDE THE REST!!

Repurpose your own old hat or charity shop find into a modern wearable Fascinator
You will be working with your own hat, so each design will be individual and you will be reworking what you have!
There will be additional sinamay, flowers and feathers to make your design pop....
All additional Materials included, however you will need a hair dryer.

1940's Felt hat:
This workshop is taking a felt hood and free forming half of it into a base (no blocking required)
It will be pre-stiffened, and then you can trim however you like with the remainder of the hood.
You can choose what colour you would like (depending on availability)
